For Restaurants

For restaurants

Right now, Dishpit is built for restaurant workers. Operators don't have a presence on the platform yet.

That'll change in a later version — and when it does, here's what we're committed to.

What you'll be able to do (later)

  • Claim your restaurant's page. Take ownership of how your place shows up. Edit basic info. Respond to reviews. Send workers a thank-you note when they post a good one.
  • Respond to reviews publicly. Workers see your response. They can see you're listening, even when the review was rough.
  • Get signal you can actually use. Aggregate data about what your workers are saying — not just star ratings, but structured signal on management, tips, schedule, training, pace, dignity.

What you'll never be able to do

  • See who wrote any review. Ever.
  • Pay to remove reviews. Ever.
  • Filter your reviews to only show the positive ones.
  • Discourage workers from reviewing.

The whole point of Dishpit is that workers can tell the truth without fear. That promise doesn't bend for paying customers. What you get for paying is the ability to respond and to see aggregate signal — not the ability to control the narrative.

Why this is good for your restaurant

The restaurants that score well on Dishpit will be the ones that treat workers well. That's not a coincidence. If you're running a good restaurant, Dishpit is the best free signal in the industry for proving it — from the people whose opinion matters most to your next hire.

When this is launching

Workers are going first. Once we have a meaningful directory of Charleston restaurants with real reviews, the operator features follow. Expect early-to-mid [YEAR].

I want in early

Hit /contact. Tell us your restaurant, your name, what you'd want to do once the operator features ship. We're building a list of operators we want to talk to first.
